Renegade Collection 2022

The set includes only the best batches from this season, altogether 8 different teas.  Each batch of our teas is a little bit different (read from here why), this collection includes the ones that have stood out the most. So, when for example Tulip Garden we made 14 times this year, then the best version gets to this set!

Renegade Collection 2022 includes:

• 3x50 G BLACK TEA
  
  Berry Breeze - A very lightly oxidized spring black tea. It has a soft and smooth taste where you can feel hints of berries - red currant, raspberries and hibiscus. A fresh and fruity black tea, with no sharp edges. This tea reminds us of those summers at the homestead, with an infusion made of raspberry and hibiscus. Beverage as sweet as those memories that from time to time sneak into your mind with a summer breeze...
  
  Georgian Breakfast  - A great companion to start the day with! This black tea's captivating smell is toasty, smoky, a bit spicy. You can feel some roasted rye bread, tobacco. The taste is full-bodied, toasty and you can also feel the sweetness of dried plums. If you have been looking for a stronger black tea in our selection, then this is the one! 
  
  Smooth Jazz - The Smooth Jazz's recipe has developed over time together with new jazz tunes. Last year we got to something really special and managed to replicate it also this year. We're not really into fancy tea descriptions as they often seem to be unrealistic, but this tea really smells like ripe strawberries... Tthe taste has the flavour of ripe berries and fruits and a lot of sweetness. 
  
  
• 2x50 G OOLONG TEA
  
  Red Sunrise - Red Sunrise has an intense orange colour and the aroma of fresh tobacco. This well-oxidized oolong has a flavour combination of sweet fruits and berries, honey and flowers with some light tannins. This batch has a lot of flowers in the taste!
  
  Miss Ohh Long - This oolong has the perfect balance between the silky nature of black tea and the freshness of green tea with some floral hints in it. The slight astringent aftertaste is just the attitude of Miss Ohh Long that she shows from time to time.
  
  
• 2x50 G GREEN TEA
  
  Tulip Garden - Tulip Garden's recipe got an upgrade this year - we tweaked the process to make it more floral and complex and we think we succeeded :)  It now has a fresh and floral taste with a nice touch of astringency at the end. A sip of true spring flavours!
  
  Renegade Life - This green tea is a true renegade. We took a bit different approach on this one by letting it wither overnight which resulted in quite an interesting green tea in our selection. It has a nutty, a bit roasted aroma with hints of sweetness and umami in it. The taste is not as vegetal as most of our green teas - instead, you can feel notes of chestnuts and peanuts accompanied by a roasted flavour.
  
  
• 1x25 G WHITE TEA
  
  Imereti Summer - This summer white tea feels like summer days in Imereti, Georgia - sweet, smooth and full of light summer aromas. The tea has been withered for more than 24 hours which brings out the sweetness and tropical flavours. Its fruity taste and silky feeling are captivating. Use different temperatures for brewing to bring out the many faces of this tea.
