We've long regarded white tea as the king of teas – the essence of naturalness, crafted solely from the freshest new shoots, a true reflection of both the terroir and the tea bushes themselves. But then, we pondered: how would this king of teas evolve with age, transitioning from a bright youngling to a seasoned elder? And here it is - our mature white tea, crafted from the seasoned 2-3 leaves.
The transformation was nothing short of revelatory. With a delicate touch from our tea masters, the true essence of royalty emerged - an essence that is mature, confident, and multi-layered. Long live the king!
Our tea fields had been abandoned for over 20 years. When we brought them back into production, we chose organic farming methods to continue growing tea without synthetic pesticides or fertilisers.
All harvesting is done by hand, with people from nearby villages plucking only the finest leaves.
All the teas we sell are produced in our own small factory by Aleko, Hannes or Tomas. We experiment with different recipes, doing our best to bring out the finest flavours of Georgian tea.
