Personal Christmas gifts, prepared long before Christmas

The most meaningful gifts are rarely the ones bought in a hurry. They are the ones that feel personal. Thoughtful. A little unexpected. The kind of gift that quietly says: I did not just buy something — I thought about you.

Isn’t it too early for Christmas, you may ask?

The thing is, these gifts cannot be prepared in December.

Personal labels need to be printed before the tea is packed. Cards and letters need to be designed, printed and sent thousands of kilometres to places like Papua New Guinea and Madagascar, where they will be signed and returned before the gift boxes are assembled.

So yes, it may feel early to think about Christmas. But the most personal Christmas gifts are usually not bought in December. They are prepared in June.

Below you can find the gift boxes we are preparing this year. Some include tea labels printed with the receiver’s name. Some come with personal letters and videos from the coffee-growing communities behind the beans. Some share the stories of the people behind the chocolate, cinnamon or pepper inside the box.

They are not meant to be luxury gifts with luxury price tags. They are meant to feel like something that took time, care and a slightly renegade amount of planning.
