This is a very lightly oxidized spring black tea. It has a soft and smooth taste where you can feel hints of berries - red currant, raspberries and hibiscus. A fresh and fruity black tea, no sharp edges.
Our tea fields had been abandoned for over 20 years. When we brought them back into production, we chose organic farming methods to continue growing tea without synthetic pesticides or fertilisers.
All harvesting is done by hand, with people from nearby villages plucking only the finest leaves.
All the teas we sell are produced in our own small factory by Aleko, Hannes or Tomas. We experiment with different recipes, doing our best to bring out the finest flavours of Georgian tea.
