Renegade Collection 2023

The set includes only the best batches from this season, altogether 8 different teas.  Each batch of our teas is a little bit different (read from here why), this collection includes the ones that have stood out the most. 

Renegade Collection 2023 includes:

• 2x50 G BLACK TEA
  
  Renegade Black - Renegade Black represents the classical Georgian black tea in our portfolio – a bit sweet, a bit spicy, accompanied with just enough tannins at the end. It has enough character to show you the essence of black tea, but it doesn’t overwhelm you with intensity.
  
  Burnished Beauty  - A great choice for your afternoon tea time! This spring black tea was oxidized for an extended time at a low temperature, giving it a smooth and sweet profile. You can feel dark chocolate, dried fruits, and hints of flowers. It has an earthy aroma and a captivating bronze colour.
  
  
• 2x50 G OOLONG TEA
  
  Lazy Morning - Balancing between green and oolong tea, Lazy Morning is the greenest among our oolong teas. The smell takes you to the fresh and sweet aromas of spring - a lot of lilacs and jasmine. The taste combines a bouquet of lilacs with a nice sweetness.
  
  Winter Remedy - Winter Remedy is the latest addition to our product range. With the distinct aroma of oven-baked apples, tropical fruits, and cinnamon, this tea is a perfect match for dark winter evenings. The taste is sweet and balanced with dried fruits coming up first, followed by slight tannins and honey in the aftertaste. 
  
  
• 2x50 G GREEN TEA
  
  Tulip Garden - Tulip Garden is the most floral and fresh green tea in our selection.  It has a typical sweetness of Georgian teas combined with the flowery tones and a nice touch of astringency at the end. A sip of true spring flavours!
  
  Sunset Garden - A true classic from our first season in 2018. At first, you feel the flavour of roasted peanuts, followed by a slightly brothy aftertaste. The intensity of the autumn leaves has made it a favourite among many. 
  
  
• 1x25 G WHITE TEA
  
  Cold Spring - A fresh and delicate spring white tea. To release its full character it demands a bit longer steeping time. The aroma is fresh and vegetal, with notes of citrus. You can easily use the same leaves for 3-4 brews to enjoy the delicate and sweet white tea with a very light astringency and sweet citrus aftertaste. 
  
  
• 1x50 G ROASTED YELLOW TEA
  
  Yellow Dragon - Yellow Dragon doesn't fall into any standard category of tea. It's a slowly roasted yellow tea, but the taste is not what you would expect from yellow tea. Some say that it reminds them of Japanese hōjicha, but it's not really a hōjicha either. So, we call this tea 'experimental'. It's roasty and smokey but at the same time also sweet and smooth. It's unlike any other tea in our selection.
